The beach is about 800-1000 ft long. The end in the picture is left natural, the rest has a roped-off swimming area, buoys for boats to anchor, the piers left from the boat launch that a storm ate a few years back, some fire-pits, tables, trees, flowers etc.

These days the lake is indigo coloured, with lots of rolling white caps. The wind coming off the water is cold now. I walked down to the beach today and was glad I had my winter hat and windbreaker. There's enough wave structure for surfers on some beaches (not ours). The lake is 100 miles long, must be five miles wide here, so it's pretty good sized.

I ought to go through and find some pictures and post them.

Love ya!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14133236228952504852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31544381.post-81713816503832021592009-12-01T20:22:04.034-08:002009-12-01T20:22:04.034-08:00I keep meaning to ask you...is the photo currently...I keep meaning to ask you...is the photo currently at the top of the blog your lake? Since I plan on starting some seeds in February, I guess I only have to wait 60 days as well!Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09303344546714641616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31544381.post-81463481103841077972009-11-30T17:26:55.816-08:002009-11-30T17:26:55.816-08:00There will barely be anytime to get the soil from ...There will barely be anytime to get the soil from neath your fingernails.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
